Use the invasion trick to get 5 colorless demon souls from the Primeval Demon via PBWT in world 2 to upgrade Adj. Shield up to +5. At this point your Vitality, Faith, and Endurance should be pretty high and your passive regen rate is roughly ~18hp/sec!
The Stats needed for the Holy Paladin Build are Faith, Vitality, Endurance, and Intelligence. All it does is come with a mana regenerating ring. You can also get it by trading a telescope to a birds nest right after beating the first boss.Faith or STR for the first three weapons, with Dex for Kilij. You can also use Crescent Kilij on a mage/spellsword build. GAxe with Adjudicator's Shield is probably the most braindead setup you can use in PvE, especially on NG where health regen will easily keep up with the damage you take. Istarelle's damage isn't worth the off-build stat investment. Same goes for the Phosphorescent Pole on Magic builds. Better off with a Blessed Mirdan Hammer for the former and a Moon Mirdan Hammer/Moon Winged Spear for the latter. SofaKingDemented • 6 mo. ago. Strength level 20 first. Then vit end to 16or so. Then strength level 30. Basically get strength to 30 asap. Then end and vit equally (for me). Once you're at 30,20,20 you can put a few into magic or dex if needed. But basically only those 3 starts for strength build.

So far I beat 1-1, 2-1, and 4-1. I am playing as basically a pure Mage. My question is for a Mage is it worth it to build any other stats besides Will, Magic, and possibly vitality. I am especially interested in Faith as it seems there are some level 16 faith miracles that are worthwhile.
best ranged weapon for Faith builds ? Some encounters in this game seem to require ranged attacks. Since Faith builds don't have ranged miracle spells, i'm looking at which bows could be good. I found the Compound Long Bow, that seem reasonable with it's 15 Strength requiremement (as it is two handed).
